Statement of Faith

Messiah Project teaches and proclaims the Lordship of Jesus Christ and His death, burial and resurrection. We believe that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God the Father. We hold to the promise of eternal salvation, by the grace of God, through the submission of the heart of fallen and sinful man to the Lordship of Jesus Christ who suffered and died as a substitutionary offering for those who will believe and receive it. This salvation from eternal damnation is a free gift from God and cannot be earned by good works or righteous living.

We believe that a desire to pursue obedience to the Word of God and servant hood to our fellow man in the emulation of the life and ministry of Christ is the fruit of our salvation brought about the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit.

We desire to fervently work to fulfill the Great Commission that Christ delivered to the church to “go” into all the world and preach the Gospel of the Kingdom, making disciples of all men and teaching them to obey all that Christ has commanded us.

We believe that beyond these essential truths, the finer points of doctrinal differences should remain for each Christian to study and believe according to their own understanding, but are not subjects that should be debated due to their divisive nature. We respect the beliefs of our fellow Christian brothers and sisters and choose to focus on the commonality of our faith in Jesus Christ, not the differences.
